Give important
conversations
a clear record.
Some conversations deserve more than a camera roll. ChatQuire is an upcoming iPhone app being designed to turn WhatsApp exports and message screenshots into readable, organized PDFs.
A thoughtful format. A product in the making.
Important details.
Endless scrolling.
The deadline you agreed on. The detail you need to find. The conversation someone else needs to read.
Messages are easy to send and surprisingly hard to keep in context. Screenshots pile up. Dates slip out of view. Sharing a long conversation can become a project of its own.
We’re working toward a calmer way to put the available details in order, so the record is easier to follow.
The planned workflow.
A simple direction for the app we’re designing.
These features are still in development.
Start with your source
Choose a WhatsApp chat export or iPhone message screenshots. Keep an untouched copy of the originals.
Read it with context
Review the available names, dates, and message order. Check recognized text and mark anything uncertain.
Make a readable record
The proposed output brings the reviewed conversation into a numbered, paginated document.
Start with what
you actually have.
A text export and a screenshot don’t tell the same story. The proposed workflow would treat them differently.
WhatsApp chat exports
Exported text can contain message lines, sender labels, and dates. A ZIP package may also include media, depending on the export options. It is a readable export, separate from an app backup.
Understand WhatsApp exportsiPhone message screenshots
An image preserves only what is on screen. Future text recognition would need review and could not recover a hidden date, an unseen message, or a sender’s identity.
Work with screenshotsA conversation.
Considered, on paper.
What might a clearer record look like? Our sample follows a fictional project handoff, from a delivery date to a final approval.
- Participants and the available date range
- Numbered messages, kept in sequence
- Page numbers and source references
- Notes that make the limits visible

For the things
worth keeping.
A few reasons to bring a little order
to an important conversation.
Keep a personal record
Save an important exchange in a format that is easier to revisit, alongside its original source files.
Document an agreement
Bring a project discussion, delivery detail, or work approval into one readable sequence.
Give a reviewer context
Help a lawyer or another reviewer follow the conversation. Ask what source material they need as well.
A readable format does not establish authenticity or determine whether a court will accept a record.
Clarity shouldn’t
rewrite the story.
Keep the source. Check the details.
Leave the unknowns unknown.
That’s the approach guiding ChatQuire. A document should help someone read the available information, without inventing missing dates, filling gaps, or claiming certainty the source cannot provide.
Why the originals matterA little guidance.
A good place to start.
How to export a WhatsApp chat on iPhone
Save a WhatsApp conversation from your iPhone, understand the ZIP and text files, and check what the export actually includes.
How to print text messages from an iPhone
Print readable message screenshots with Apple’s built-in tools, check page order, and understand what the paper copy leaves out.
How to turn message screenshots into a PDF
Create an image-based PDF from message screenshots with Apple’s tools, preserve the originals, and review order and OCR limits.
Can I use ChatQuire today?
Not yet. ChatQuire is an iPhone app in development. This website introduces the idea, shares a proposed document format, and offers practical guides you can use today. There is no app to download or converter on this website.
Is the sample from a working app?
No. It was prepared for this website to illustrate a proposed PDF format. Every participant, message, and project detail in it is fictional. You can read the accessible HTML version or download the same conversation as a PDF.
Which sources are being considered?
The planned sources are WhatsApp chat exports, including TXT content and ZIP packages, and iPhone message screenshots. These are different kinds of sources. Screenshots only contain what is visible, and any future text recognition would need careful review. Final support has not been implemented or tested.
Can I upload my conversations here?
No. This website does not accept chat files, screenshots, photos, or other uploads. Please do not send private conversations or sensitive files by email.
Could I share a record with a lawyer?
A readable record can help a reviewer follow a conversation. Keep the original files and ask the reviewer what they need. ChatQuire is intended to help organize readable records. It does not determine whether a court will accept them.
Will dates or missing messages be filled in?
The intended approach is to preserve available information and flag uncertainty. Hidden dates, identities, and missing messages should never be invented. Text recognition cannot recover details that are not visible in a screenshot.
